The 2024-25 season was one for the record books, marking the first time a Homeschool Sporting Event has ever eclipsed 400 teams! πŸ€ NCHBC is proud to be the only organization in the history of homeschool athletics to host a 300+ team event, with 18 events surpassing that mark over the past two decades. This year, we blew past that milestone with a record-shattering 1,284 teams in our Post-Season Events! πŸ”₯

The passion and growth are undeniable. Over the last three seasons, more than 3,592 teams have stepped onto the court, and a record 1,100+ teams registered during our Early Bird period alone. On the girls’ side, the HEA Firebirds (MI) emerged as the dominant force in the G18u D1 bracket, securing back-to-back Undisputed National Championship titles. πŸ₯‡ The Midwest region proved its strength, with the West Michigan Hornets (MI) also taking home a G16u D1 championship. 🐝 Meanwhile, the Big South region showcased its depth, with the CHSM Knights (TX) winning the G14u D1 title and the DasCHE Spartans (TX) claiming victory in G10u D1. The Heartland region was represented by the Ft. Smith Patriots (AR), who clinched the G12u D1 championship. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The boys’ tournament was equally thrilling. The MHEA Eagles (TN) from the Big South region soared to victory, winning the B18u D1 Undisputed National Championship for the 5th straight year. πŸ¦… The Midwest region was well-represented with the JAHE Patriots (MI) winning the B16u D1 title and the Northside Lions (IN) securing the B12u D1 championship. 🦁 In a truly competitive field, the Wichita Warriors (KS) βš”οΈ from the At Large region fought their way to the B14u D1 crown, while the HCYA Warriors (TX) βš”οΈ from the Big South took the B10u D1 title. πŸ›‘οΈ

Beyond the champions, a host of teams made deep runs into the tournament, reaching the Final Four in their respective divisions. In the girls’ competition, the OK Flame (OK) πŸ”₯ and the West Michigan Hornets (MI) 🐝 battled to the G18u Final Four, while the Cincinnati Trailblazers (OH) and FBCHA Eagles (TX) were Final Four contenders in G16u.
