🧭 FIRST-TIMER ESSENTIALS: Navigating the Pavilion

Nationals is huge, but a few key tips will make your visit smooth and stress-free:

  • All tickets are 100% digital and must be purchased via Ticket Tailor.
  • Players do not need a ticket, and each team receives two Coach Passes for the gate. Everyone else needs a digital pass.
  • DEADLINE: The Early Bird Discount Expires Sunday, October 12th!
  • Entry Tip: Have your Pass (from the Ticket Tailor confirmation email) QR code ready to scan upon arrival.

🚫 Venue Rules: Leave It At Home!

The Sports Pavilion Lawrence strictly does NOT allow:

  • ❌ Outside Food/Drinks & Coolers
  • ❌ Lawn Chairs (Stadium chairs/seat backs for the bleachers ARE OK.)
  • Concessions (Sandbar Subs) will be available on-site.

  • PARKING PRO-TIP: To minimize walking, DROP OFF your players and gear at the entrance first, then find a parking spot. Arriving early is your best defense!
  • LAYER UP! 🌑️ Due to the massive gym and changing fall weather, the temperature inside the facility will fluctuate widely. Bring a jacket or hoodie to stay comfortable both on the court level and when heading back to your car!
  • FINDING YOUR COURT: With 16 courts running, know your team’s age division and bracket name. Brackets are onlineβ€”viewing them using the Google Sheets app often works best.

Next week, beat the Thursday rush and get your weekend started early! The Sports Pavilion Lawrence will be open on Wednesday (October 15th) evening for coaches to check in, fans to grab their wristbands, and everyone to get a sneak peek at the massive facility before the action begins.

  • COACHES CHECK-IN: Coaches can finalize paperwork and receive their official tournament credentials.
  • FAN WRISTBAND PICKUP: Fans can collect their wristbands early so you can walk right in Thursday morning.
  • FACILITY SNEAK PEEK: Get comfortable navigating the huge 16-court facility before it’s packed with 200+ teams.

We strongly encourage all local and early-arriving attendees to take advantage of this time to skip the long lines!

⚑ THURSDAY: The Adrenaline Surge (Pool Play)

Thursday is the most electric day! Nearly 200 teams flood the courts for pool play, setting the crucial seeding for the Gold Ball Divisions.

  • WIN THE DOOR BATTLE: Beat the rush! Coaches, get to the GATE/Tickets area early to secure your crucial coaches’ pass. Fans, have your Ticket Tailor pass READY on your phone.
  • WHO PLAYS THUR: All teams begin on Thursday except for G12u, B14u, & B16u, which all start on Friday.

πŸ”₯ FRIDAY: Dreams, Drama, & The First Gold

Friday is when the intensity ramps upβ€”ALL 206 TEAMS are in action! Gold, Silver, & Bronze Ball dreams are either secured or crushed.

  • FULL HOUSE INTENSITY: Get ready for absolute chaos! This will be one of the most action-packed days in homeschool volleyball history!
  • FIRST CHAMPIONS: We hand out our first Gold Balls of Nationals 2025 on Friday night! The Varsity Girls (18u) Division I Best of 5 Gold Ball Matches are scheduled for a spectacular finish at 8 PM Friday night!

πŸ₯‡ SATURDAY: The Grand Finale GRIND & GLORY

There’s no nice way to say it: Saturday is a LONG, exhausting day that culminates in the ELATION of champions.

  • NON-STOP ACTION: 32 teams battling simultaneously on 16 courts from 8 AM until the last match finishes around 9 PM.
  • 20 Gold Ball Champions will be crowned, including the Eight Undisputed (Division I) Champions.
  • THE DELAY TRAP: PLAN FOR DELAYS. Expect marathon matches. You cannot schedule a flight or drive home right after your last potential match.
  • SURVIVAL MODE (Hotel Advice): The 11 AM hotel check-out adds stress. If you can, staying Saturday night and heading home Sunday will take significant pressure off your final day

We expect respectful behavior from everyone. Our events are designed to maintain a safe atmosphere for homeschool student-athletes, their families, and teams. Under a Zero-Tolerance Policy, parents or adults should NEVER correct or confront NCHVC officials/referees or opposing team’s players, coaches, or fans. Coaches & Directors are responsible for ensuring their parents/fans behave. Let’s keep the focus on fierce, fun competition!
