The 2025 HomeSchool Volleyball National Championships featured a record 205 teams, but the headline of Championship Saturday was the incredibly competitive Showdown Series Championships.

  1. G18u Division I Undisputed Championship: In an instant classic that ended after midnight, the Red River Rattlers defeated the OKC Storm in 5 sets (13-25, 25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 15-12). This was a historic breakthrough for Red River, claiming their first G18u Undisputed Title!

  2. B18u Division I Undisputed Championship: The San Antonio Patriots reached the summit, defeating the OKC Storm in a dominant 3-0 sweep to claim the Undisputed Banner. This victory ended OKC’s streak of 4 consecutive titles.

  3. G18u Division II Championship: In a battle of Gold Ball winners, the NOAH Jaguars (4A Champs) defeated the NEK Nighthawks (3A Champs) in a grueling 5-set match.

  4. G18u Division III Championship: West Coast Impact outlasted Red River Rattlers-2 in a 5-set marathon (18-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-14, 15-12), completing a massive reverse sweep to take the title!

  5. G16u Division I Undisputed Championship: Illinois CRU returned to the mountaintop, defeating the 8A Gold Ball Winner 417 Mavericks in straight sets (25-20, 25-14) to claim the Undisputed Banner.

  6. G14u Division I Undisputed Championship: The NOAH Jaguars-A claimed the title in a 3-set thriller against St. Louis (18-25, 25-23, 15-13), capping an incredible run through the 8A bracket.

  7. G12u Division I Undisputed Championship: The NTHAA Timberwolves cemented their dynasty, sweeping the field to claim Back-to-Back Undisputed National Championships!

After a steady climbβ€”finishing #9 in 2020, top 10 in 2023, and reaching the Final Four (#4) in 2024β€”Red River broke through to claim their First-Ever G18u Undisputed National Championship. Their path was legendary: they survived a 5-set scare against #5 St. Louis in the 5A Gold Ball Match, defeated the #3 FBCHA Eagles in the Semis, and outlasted the #2 OKC Storm in a 5-set midnight marathon (13-25, 25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 15-12).

#2 OKC Storm (OK) National Runner-Up. Class 7A Gold Ball CHAMP. Recap: A Dynasty of Consistency. The OKC Storm continues to be the standard-bearer for elite consistency. This marks the 4th Consecutive Year the Storm have played in the Undisputed National Championship Match (2022-2025). Their resume is unmatched: Champions in ’22 & ’23, Runner-Up in ’24 & ’25. They claimed the 7A Gold Ball over #7 FBCHA-II (25-21, 25-10, 25-14) and defeated #4 San Antonio in the Semis (25-18, 25-18) before falling in the finale.

#3 FBCHA Eagles-I (TX) Gold Ball Showdown 3rd. Class 8A Gold Ball CHAMP. Recap: Four Years of Excellence.The FBCHA Eagles have cemented themselves as a perennial powerhouse, finishing in the National Top 3 for the 4th consecutive year. Their run includes the 2024 Championship, Runner-Up finishes in 2022 & 2023, and now a 3rd place finish in 2025. They rebounded from a semifinal loss to defeat #4 San Antonio (25-18, 25-15).

#4 San Antonio Patriots-1 (TX) Gold Ball Showdown 4th. Class 6A Gold Ball CHAMP. Recap: Another elite finish for San Antonio, backing up their #3 finish from 2024. The Patriots have been a fixture in the National Top 10 for nearly a decade (Top 10 finishes every year since 2017). They punched their ticket to the Final Four by winning the Class 6A Gold Ball over #6 Kzoo Premier.

#5 St. Louis Panthers (MO) Silver Ball CHAMP. Class 5A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: St. Louis proved they belong in the elite tier. They pushed the eventual National Champion Red River Rattlers to the absolute brink in the Class 5A Gold Ball Match, losing a heartbreaker in 5 sets (15-11 in the 5th). They responded by dominating the Silver Bracket to claim the title.

#6 Kzoo Premiere (MI) Silver Ball Runner-Up. Class 6A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: The Michigan power continues to rise. After a #6 finish in 2023 and earning a Gold Ball in 2024 (5A), Kalamazoo secured another Top 6 finish in 2025.

#7 FBCHA Eagles-II (TX) Silver Ball Bracket 3rd. Class 7A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: Program Depth.FBCHA achieved a rare feat by placing two teams in the National Top 7. This matches their 2024 performance where they were the only organization with two teams in the Top 20.

#8 NB Thunder (TX) Silver Ball Bracket 4th. Class 8A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: Back-to-back Top 13 finishes for NB Thunder (#13 in 2024), proving their program’s growth is sustainable.

#9 Indy Genesis (IN) Bronze Ball Champion. Recap: A Rising Power. Indy Genesis secures a National Top 10 finish for the 3rd consecutive year (T-#8 in 2024, Top 10 in 2023). They narrowly missed the Gold Ball game, losing a 16-14 thriller in the 3rd set to #7 FBCHA-II, but bounced back to defeat SWLA-II in the Bronze Final.

#10 SWLA Knights-II (LA) Bronze Ball Runner-Up. Recap: An incredible showing for a “second” team, SWLA-II fought their way to the Division I Bronze Final, finishing inside the National Top 10. They defeated Aggieland in the quarterfinals and DasCHE in the semis before falling to Indy Genesis.

#11 Tyler HEAT (TX) Bronze Ball 3rd Place. Recap: Back-to-back Top 11 finishes for Tyler HEAT (#10 in 2024). They battled hard all weekend, including a 31-29 set against #3 FBCHA in the Gold Ball round. They finished the tournament with a victory over Omaha Roadrunners (25-22, 26-24).

#12 Omaha Roadrunners (NE) Bronze Ball 4th Place. Recap: Consistency is key. The Roadrunners secure their 3rd straight Top 14 finish (#14 in 2024, #12 in 2023). They reached the Bronze 3rd place match after a tight battle with Indy Genesis in the semis.

#13 Aggieland Panthers (TX) Bronze Ball 5th Place. Recap: Another strong showing for Aggieland, improving on their #18 ranking from 2023. After a quarterfinal loss to SWLA-II, they rallied to win the Bronze Ball Consolation bracket, defeating CHSM Crimson Knights (25-23, 25-20) to finish 13th.

#14 CHSM Knights (TX) Bronze Ball 6th Place. Recap: A perennial contender, CHSM battled #4 San Antonio tough in the Class 6A Semis (25-23, 25-23) before finishing 14th overall.

#15 CHAAMP Hawks (TX) Bronze Ball 7th Place. Recap: Following up their highest-ever ranking (#19) in 2024, the Hawks climbed even higher this year, finishing #15 after defeating DasCHE (25-19, 25-14) in their final match.

After years of knocking on the door with consistent Top 8 finishes (#8 in 2023, #8 in 2024), the Patriots broke through in dominant fashion. They swept the 2023, 2022, 2021, & 2020 HomeSchool Volleyball Undisputed National champion OKC Storm 3-0 in the finals to claim the program’s first-ever B18u Undisputed Title.

#2 OKC Storm (OK) National Runner-Up. Class 8A Gold Ball CHAMP. Recap: Wildly Successful. While their streak of 4 consecutive titles (2020-2023) came to an end, the OKC Storm’s dominance is undeniable. This marks the 6th Consecutive Year (2020-2025) that OKC has appeared in the Undisputed National Championship Match.

#3 Fort Wayne Lions (IN) Silver Ball CHAMP. Class 8A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: Highest Ever Finish. Fort Wayne jumps into the Top 3, significantly improving on their previous best (T-4th in 2023). They secured the Silver Ball with a decisive sweep over #4 Omaha Lightning.

#4 Omaha Lightning (NE) Silver Ball Runner-Up. Class 7A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: Model of Consistency. Omaha has now finished in the National Top 4 for three consecutive years (T-#4 in 2024, #2 in 2023).

#5 DasCHE Spartans (TX) Bronze Ball Champion. Recap: Another Top 5 Finish. DasCHE continues to be a staple at the top of the rankings. After a semifinal victory over Indy Genesis, they defeated Red River in a 3-set thriller (25-23, 27-29, 15-10) to claim the Bronze Ball. This marks their 3rd time in the Top 6 in the last four seasons (#3 in 2024).

#6 Red River Rattlers (TX) Bronze Ball Runner-Up. Recap: Perennial Power. Despite falling in the Bronze final, Red River continues their streak as a national powerhouse, securing their 3rd consecutive Top 6 finish (T-#4 in 2024, T-#4 in 2023). They reached the Bronze final by defeating Aggieland in straight sets (25-16, 25-23).

#7 Aggieland Panthers (TX) Bronze Ball 3rd Place. Recap: Rebounded from their semifinal loss to defeat Indy Genesis in straight sets (25-14, 26-24) to secure the #7 ranking.

Illinois CRU recaptures the G16u Undisputed Title, adding to their back-to-back championships in 2020 & 2021. They defeated the 8A Champion 417 Mavericks in the final match (25-20, 25-14) to claim the banner.

#2 417 Mavericks (MO) National Runner-Up. Class 8A Gold Ball CHAMP. Recap: Pure Dominance in 8A. The Mavericks rolled through the 8A Bracket, sweeping the Omaha Roadrunners in the Gold Ball match. This is a massive leap for a program that finished #26 (D2 Bronze) just one year ago!

#3 Omaha Roadrunners (NE) Silver Ball CHAMP. Class 8A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: An impressive run to the 8A Title game, defeating Net Force and CHSM Crimson Knights before falling to the 8A Champs. They rebounded to win the Silver Ball over DasCHE-Black (25-22, 25-19).

#4 DasCHE Spartans-Black (TX) Silver Ball Runner-Up. Class 7A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: DasCHE continues to produce elite 16u teams, following up their 2024 Undisputed Championship with a Top 4 finish in 2025.

#5 CHSM Crimson Knights (TX) Bronze Ball Champion. Recap: Consistent excellence. CHSM finishes in the Top 9 for the 3rd time in 4 seasons (Undisputed Champs in 2022).

NOAH finished as the Bronze Ball Champion (9th place) in both 2023 and 2024. In 2025, they vaulted to the very top, defeating St. Louis in a 3-set thriller (18-25, 25-23, 15-13) to take the crown.

#2 St. Louis Panthers (MO) National Runner-Up. Class 7A Gold Ball CHAMP. Recap: Pushed the eventual champions to the absolute limit in the final match. They claimed the 7A Gold Ball by defeating Wichita Defenders-Orange (25-20, 21-25, 15-13).

After a tough loss in the Gold Ball round, they rebounded to dominate the Silver Ball final, sweeping Wichita Defenders (25-15, 25-16).

#4 Wichita Defenders-Orange (KS) Silver Ball Runner-Up. Class 7A Gold Ball Runner-Up. Recap: Huge Jump! Despite the loss in the Silver final, this is an incredible accomplishment for Wichita. They finished 15th in 2024 and 17th in 2023, so breaking into the National Top 4 in 2025 is a massive leap forward.
