The NCHBC 2023 postseason is one for record books! Many age groups are COMPLETELY FULL, and waitlists will begin. Some teams will miss out on these excellent homeschool basketball postseason events.
Make sure your team is all set by reviewing the team list.
➼ 1,075+ Teams are registered for an upcoming NCHBC 2023 HomeSchool Basketball Post-Season Event!
➼ 360+ Teams are registered for NATIONALS in Springfield, Missouri, March 13th-17th! All age groups (Boys & Girls 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, & 18u) still have openings.
➼ 190+ Teams are registered for the BIG South Regional in North Dallas, Texas, February 23rd-25th! Almost all age groups are FULL—only 3 total openings between all 10 age groups.
➼ 160+ Teams are registered for the Midwest Regional in Westfield, Indiana, on February 23rd-25th! Almost all age groups are FULL—only 3 total openings between all 9 age groups are offered. Several age groups do have potential openings.
➼ 80+ Teams are registered for the Red River District in Mansfield, Texas, on January 27th & 28th! 3 Age groups are FULL; 3 age groups have 1 open spot left. One age group has a NEED.
➼ 75+ Teams are registered for the Heartland Regional in Lawerence, Kansas February 23rd & 24th! All age groups can add at least one more team.
➼ 70 Teams are registered for the Brazos River District in Houston, Texas, January 27th & 28th! Most Age groups are FULL—only 5 total openings between all 10 age groups are offered. One age group has a NEED.
➼ 55 Teams are registered for the Southeast Regional in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on February 23rd-25th! 3 Age groups are FULL; 3 age groups have 1 open spot left.
➼ 45+ Teams are registered for the Gulf Coast District in Monroe, LA, on January 20th & 21st! One Age group is FULL; 2 age groups have 1 open spot left. One age group has a NEED.
➼ 20+ Teams are registered for the Arkansas River District in Lawerence, KS February 2nd & 3rd! All age groups can add at least one more team. Two age groups have a NEED.
➼ 18 Teams are registered for the Northern District in Wisconsin Dells, WI January 20th & 21st! All age groups can add at least one more team. Two age groups have a NEED.

All Parents, Coaches, & Athletic/Program Directors are required to abide by the posted Eligibility Guidelines, during the NCHC Player, Coaches, & Program registration all individuals are required to read and agree to abide by the NCHC Eligibility Guidelines if you have not yet read these yet please go to the link above and review. The NCHC considers anyone that sits on the bench to be a coach.
Sportsmanship is always encouraged by all parties. Parents or adults should never correct or confront the opposing team’s players, fans or children.
Under no circumstances should fans and children be on the court at half time.
In addition to these posted eligibility guidelines, NCHC Coaches are held to a higher standard: A coach is never to confront opposing fans, students, or players before, during, or after a game. Coach is responsible for holding themselves, other coaches, & their players accountable for their language & actions, especially on the court. A coach should never confront, yell at, or display threatening body language toward a referee after the game. A coach is responsible to make sure their parents &/or fans behave during their game. Social Media Policy: It is not acceptable for a coach, Athletic Director, Parent, Player, or team account to make negative social media posts about NCHBC players, fans, referees, directors, or tournaments.
NCHC Fan* Ejection Policy:
Immediate Consequence- The ejected fan must leave the facility immediately.
24-hour Consequence- The ejected fan is ineligible to attend an NCHC Event or be on-site or on the campus of where an NCHC event is being hosted for 24 hours from the ejection.
Appeal- An ejected fan may appeal to the NCHC by emailing zackstargell.nchc@gmail.com. The NCHC will contact the head referee for a report on the ejection. The Head Referee makes the final call.
*Fan is defined as ANYONE ejected that was not on the bench as a coach or on the floor as a player at the time of the referee’s ejection. This would include players and coaches from other age groups not currently on the court playing.
**This includes but is not limited to: receiving two technical fouls
NCHC Player & Coach* Ejection Policy:
Immediate Consequence- The ejected player or coach must leave the facility immediately.
Next Game Consequence- The ejected player or coach is ineligible to play in the team’s next game for that specific team.

If the Fan, Player, or Coach Ejection policy is not honored, the NCHC will seek a resolution with the organization involved that meets this policy’s spirit. This will include additional consequences for individuals, teams, and organizations.

To be eligible for participation in the National Christian HomeSchool Championships, a player must be homeschooled continuously & begin playing on their team before the team’s 1st game. Any players joining the team after the 1st game must follow the next step listed below; each unique situation is dealt with on a case by case basis.
